Be careful what you teach, it might interfere with what they are learning.

Whether you love watching children at play or value the importance of play in children's lives - or both - the International Play Association (IPA) invites you to "enjoy IPA’s video on [the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child] Article 31 and the Child’s Right to Play. We will have this translated into 15 languages and will be adding the different versions slowly over the next several months. Currently, the video is availble subtitled in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish and Welsh. Coming soon: Russian, Hebrew, Portuguese, Japanese, Dutch, Turkish, Italian and Swedish."

I agree, Francis. IPA is a great organization. And it's so wonderful to have this subtitled in so many languages. That said, the language of play speaks for itself! BTW, watch for the June 12 EED - thanks to you!

A beautifully well-done video to advocate for a child's right to play. I immediately forwarded it to all the families in my program.
