This report revealed that there are 1 million teachers working in 130,000 early childhood centers in the United States. They work in the following settings:

So often we use the term "Teacher" but what does that mean? It is a position or a credential? How many of those teachers have licensing or even advanced education? I see advertisements all the time for "Teachers" in independent schools or child care centers and what it means is a high school graduate.
