CHILD WELFARE LEAGUE OF AMERICA CONFERENCE

CWLA will hold it Biennial Leadership Summit this year in San Diego, California on October 9 - 11, 2002. The conference, entitled "Leadership, Community, and Social Change: Putting Kids First", is based on the assumption that "the need for a focused, collective, and entrepreneurial approach to protecting and supporting your community's children has never been more important, or more complicated." Summit topics will include: negotiation strategies and tools, community building, workforce strategies, public policy from a community perspective, and maximizing financing.
