Coyle Appointed Director
of CCCF
Barbara Coyle has been appointed executive director of the Canadian Child
Care Federation. Ms Coyle has been with CCCF for
close to nine years, most recently as senior director, development, marketing
and communications. She has over 20 years experience in the corporate and voluntary
sectors. Over a year ago, she successfully completed a Masters in Management
degree for Voluntary Sector Leaders through McGill University. According
to Gina Gasparrini, President of CCCF, Ms Coyle has a proven track
record of exceptional performance as strategic thinker, team builder and champion
for healthy child development.
Previous CCCF executive director, Sandra Griffin, has been appointed
chief of staff for the federal Minister of Social Development,
Ken Dryden (who many sports fans remember as the Hall of Fame goalie for the
Montreal Canadiens).
CCCF is a member of the World Forum Alliance and
is active in the planning for the 2005 World Forum in Montreal,
