The Boston College Center on Work & Family recently released
a new study, "Increasing the Visibility of the Invisible Workforce: Model
Programs and Policies for Hourly and Lower Wage Employees," which points
to the benefits of work life programs. For example, the Bank of
America found that those who used their Child Care Plus
program were twice as likely to stay with the company. Providian
Financial matches Dependent Care Assistance Plan contributions
dollar for dollar up to $2,000 and is confident that the program benefits both
