Share Your Thoughts on Your Well-being and Working Conditions
June 21, 2022
Let's build a community that allows hard questions and honest conversations so we can stir up transformation in one another.
-Germany Kent, American journalist

Today we share an invitation from the Happy Teacher Research Team at the University of Oklahoma to all fulltime teachers of children birth to five, to contribute to a research project on teacher well-being and working conditions:

Greetings ECE Leaders!

We are the Happy Teacher Research Team at the University of Oklahoma and we are conducting a research study to better understand and to improve early childhood teachers’ working conditions and well-being [OU-NC IRB # 14593]. This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Eligibility: Any early childhood teacher who works full time in a classroom with children ages 0 through 5 (including pre-K and kindergarten teachers) in one of the following settings: child care center, preschool, Head Start program, public school, private school. We ask questions about your well-being, working conditions, and work. The survey will take about 30 minutes of your time. After you complete the survey, you will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card.

Follow this link to the Survey:

If you have any questions about the online survey for teachers, please contact Dr. Kyong-Ah Kwon at [email protected] (Principal Investigator for the Happy Teacher Project at the University of Oklahoma). Thank you!

The Happy Teacher Project and Exchange Press will provide an update to our Exchange Family once the research is complete.
