Margie Carter, in the book Developing People in Early Childhood Organizations, describes her work with directors and teachers who ask for help in strengthening staff teamwork. She explains that when she is “working with programs to build strong teams and the ability to collaborate, I focus on recognizing key indicators that can be found in a program.”
These are the indicators of teamwork she looks for:

That's an absolutely solid and important question, Cecily. It can't just be words on a page. For me, advancing equity starts with explicitly acknowledging inequity, reflecting on any actions and decisions I make that perpetuate that inequity, and choosing actions and decisions that address the inequities. It's not enough to just stop doing something. It's also important to make amends for damage done and opportunities lost. Thoughts?

Thank you for your work. I wonder what 'Advancing Equity in Early Childhood Education“ looks like. What behavior are exhibited when we are advancing equity? What behaviors are exhibited by teachers?
