If we cannot disconnect, we cannot lead. Creating the culture of burnout is opposite to creating a culture of sustainable creativity.

Dear Exchange Community,
One of our newest resources is an Exchange Essentials article collection called “Caring for Yourself and Your Team.” I love it because the articles remind us to take a breath after this long year we’ve just endured, and focus a little more on joy, self-compassion and calm.
I recently saw a meme that said: “Do you ever feel like you’re ‘hitting a wall?’ Remember - walls are there so you can lean on them and rest.”
I think it’s healthy, after mustering our courage and extra reserves of strength for so long, to finally acknowledge how tired we are. It’s ok to rest. Actually it’s more than ok. It’s important!
Here’s to taking good care of ourselves for a change,
