Dear Exchange Community,
Sometimes people find new ways to spread love. The families and friends of Ellen Hall and Billie Young have worked with the World Forum Foundation to find a truly loving way to honor two remarkable early childhood professionals who left us all too soon.
The Ellen Hall Fellowship will support early childhood practitioners working on behalf of children’s rights, and the Billie Young Fellowship will be awarded to people working to connect children with nature. Both Fellowships will make it possible for recipients (who would otherwise have been unable) to attend World Forum Foundation events that connect them to the inspiration of a worldwide ECD community. Learn more about both of these extraordinary women and how to donate in their honor.
And, speaking of the World Forum Foundation, the next hundred people who register for the 2021 World Forum Virtual World Tour of early childhood education in ten countries will now receive a free t-shirt commemorating the event. Remember to check on group rates and low student rates.
Thinking of both Ellen and Billie reminds me how many truly selfless, dedicated people choose to spend their lives on behalf of children, families and educators. Exchange is proud to support each of you in your dedicated work.
With admiration,
Nancy Rosenow, on behalf of our Exchange team
