A good laugh heals a lot of hurts.
-Madeleine L’Engle
Dear Friends,
Let me be honest: I know things are tough sometimes. COVID numbers are scary. Political unrest feels heartbreaking. Many are stretched tight financially.
So what can we do?
1. Feel our feelings and acknowledge we are doing something hard.
2. Give ourselves a pat on the back for facing challenges with courage.
3. Reach out to friends for mutual support.
We hope you count our Exchange staff as some of your friends. Ever since you told us how helpful it would be to receive more free resources, we’ve been working on ways to get those to you. Kayley Cooper, with support from many on our team, is now offering a free article, video, or book excerpt each week that is sent out through a special email list. Sign up here if you’d like to be on it.
On Wednesday, watch for an email from Kayley offering a free video about strategies for managing in this time of COVID. Videos like this, as well as hundreds of others, are available through Ed.Flicks, our online video service that we’ve been working hard on lately. We’ve heard it’s helping a lot of you, and we’re glad.
Here’s our encouragement for the week: Each day let’s find someone to thank and a reason to laugh. We’ll feel better.
With gratitude for all you do,
Nancy Rosenow, on behalf of our Exchange team
