ON ACCREDITATION
In July 2003 the NAEYC Governing Board approved ten early childhood
program standards as draft NAEYC early childhood program standards.
Collectively, the ten draft program standards describe early childhood programs
that consistently promote positive learning and developmental outcomes for all
young children. These standards form the base of the revised NAEYC
accreditation system.
Jim Greenman has reminded us that the period for commenting on the new accreditation
system ends on January 16, 2004. To review the proposed accreditation program
