This is what I do---I care for the children in my class. I listen to them, I play their games with them, I try to help them handle difficulties in the classroom, I talk to them, I share my stories with them. We laugh, sing, paint, build, create and we are silly. I value the time I spend with them --you never get this time back again---stop with the future work force talk---take care of the child today!

"We care for and educate children at their most impressionable and vulnerable age, and when the foundation for their entire future is being created, but our job is made far more difficult because everyone wants to tell us how to do our jobs, we get paid almost nothing, and policymakers have no clue! In truth, we get no respect!"
