Daily planning, based on anecdotal notes of children's activities from that day, can effectively scaffold and enhance children's learning activities. Children's intrinsic motivation to choose activities interesting to them, is the environment that supports gains in learning, with the adults in the roles of facilitators, partners and guides. Measuring developmental gains takes a d.a.p. assessment tool like the C.O.R., from High/Scope Foundation, to guide adult learning partners, in facilitating an appropriate learning experience for young learning. It can be a very exciting and rewarding learning process for all!
