Nepal: How You Can Help
May 1, 2015
If you can’t change it, change your attitude.
-Maya Angelou

Members of the World Forum community have been monitoring the news from Nepal with great concern and sympathy.  We have been able to determine that all World Forum Global Leaders and all members of the World Forum's International Advisory Committee from Nepal are safe for now.  We are anxiously pursuing updates about other Nepalese members of the World Forum community. And, we are following with great sadness the news about the vast numbers of children and families impacted by the earthquake.

We have been receiving urgent reports from World Forum partners who are working on the ground to support the children and families of Nepal.  Funds are needed to purchase, in nearby countries, the supplies desperately needed by families to survive -- safe drinking water, tanks to store water, water purifying medicines, sleeping bags, trekking mattresses and blankets, tents, first aid supplies, clothes for children, rubber boots, torch lights, mosquito nets, and building materials.

The World Forum Foundation and Exchange recommend for your consideration making contributions to these organizations. Check out their web sites or Facebook pages, learn more about their work, and then use the channels listed below to make contributions.  Next week we will be sharing how you can use the World Forum Mud Day (which originated in Nepal) to honor and support Nepal.
