Hi,
Although I have not written before, I have been receiving your emails for years and am truly inspired and informed by them. I make sure to read each one and often save them in my inbox for future reference. Thank you for providing the education community with this service.
I love the quotes at the beginning of each message - food for thought. I'm writing because the quote for today is a Ukrainian proverb and my daughter is spending the year in the Ukraine both learning and doing community service. She just returned home to be with the family for the Passover holiday. Mainly I am writing since today is the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Chabad communities around the world celebrate this day with gatherings and parades. The Rebbe was born in the Ukraine. Since Judaism teaches that there are no coincidences, I am just noting how fitting it is that a Ukrainian proverb was chosen for today.
For those of you who are Jewish, I wish you a wonderful and meaningful Pesach. If you are interested in more information about Judaism, Chabad, and the Rebbe, check out chabad.org.
Again, a huge thank you for your work.
All the best,
Gittel Kaplan
