The big secret in life is that there is no big secret. Whatever your goal, you can get there if you're willing to work.

I seem to be slipping into the habit of featuring a video every Friday. So I will continue that one more week with this TEDTalk by Jarrett J. Krosoczka, who paints the funny and touching story of a little boy who pursued a simple passion: to draw and write stories. With the help of a supporting cast of family and teachers, Krosoczka grew up to become the successful creator of beloved children’s book characters, and a vocal advocate for arts education.Contributed by Kirsten Haugen

Jarrett K’s TED Talk was absolutely inspiring, moving and witty – all at once…..and this would have been even better – if that is even possible – if CCIE’s headline said ‘The Influence of Teachers and Grandparents’….a tribute to grandparents and their everlasting love and kindness.
It was GREAT one for a Friday – THANK YOU!

Well worth the watch. As a writer and a former child :), it was inspirational. I am hoping video Fridays live on.
