I really like the questions that an organization has to be willing to ask. When we give what is a large donation for our family, we also want to know if we have access to the leadership. If we don't like the leadership style of the executive, we might look for an organization with a similar mission that we believe will have a brighter future because of what we perceive as potential long-term leadership problems.
