World Forum Registrations Re-Open
March 29, 2011
If we miss the moment, we miss the clues. In the present, when we allow ourselves to fully live there, we are restored, made wiser, made deeper and happier.
-Marianne Williamson, author and political candidate
In just over one month, 900 early childhood professionals from 60+ nations will arrive in Honolulu for the 2011 World Forum on Early Care and Education. They will take part in 20 diverse Study Tours throughout the island of Oahu on May 3 and then be stimulated for the next three days with over 70 presentations on topics including nature, peace, poverty, leadership, funding, music, AIDS, curriculum, and play. In addition, in the daily plenaries they will be moved by provocations by Sakena Yakoby from Afghanistan on children in poverty, Michael Kelly from Zambia on AIDS and young children, Amara Amarasingh from Sri Lanka on children in the midst of armed conflict, and Richard Kimura from Hawaii on the value of maintaining indigenous culture. Mixed in will be scores of no-host lunches, an international dance, a dazzling Welcome Reception, and a tearful Farewell Luncheon.

Due to a variety of reasons we now have a small number of openings for registrations from anywhere in the world on a first-come, first-served basis. And, the regular registration rate has been extended until April 14. To register, go to the online World Forum registration.

Impact children globally by supporting the mission of the World Forum Foundation to strengthen the quality of services to children and families. This is accomplished through the ongoing exchange of ideas around the world on the delivery of early care and education in diverse settings. Face-to-face interactions at world summit meetings and ongoing online dialogue connect a community of World Forum advocates and generate far-reaching outcomes and ideas.

I don't know how you could expect people in the early childhood community to pay so much for a conference it's definitely not for average directors it's for the owners and business people you have to be upfront about it thank you
