Clinton Honors World Forum Foundation
October 5, 2009
I’m learning that recognizing and leaning into the discomfort of vulnerability teaches us how to live with joy, gratitude, and grace.
-Brene Brown

The World Forum Foundation (WFF) has been invited to be a member of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).  In order to participate, the WFF has committed to reconnecting 2 million children around the world with nature in the next four years.

Learn more by visiting the World Forum Foundation website or click here to download a summary of this commitment.

Roger Neugebauer (that's me) was invited to attend the 5th Clinton Global Initiative Conference in New York in September with his $20,000 registration fee covered by CGI.  Attending this event were...

  • Over 60 heads of state including President Barack Obama;
  • CEOs of Fortune 500 companies such as Exxon, Cisco, Wal-Mart, Coca Cola, and Intel;
  • Nobel Prize winners such as Professor Mohammed Yunas (founder of micro-financing) and Wangari Maathai  (founder of Kenya Green Belt Movement);
  • Presidents of charitable organizations such as Rockefeller Foundation, Carnegie Foundation, UNICEF, Care, Plan International, and Mercy Corps;
  • Heads of hundreds of international NGOs; and
  • Even a few celebrities such as Juanes, Matt Damon, Ben Stiller, Demi Moore, and Paul Pierce.
Throughout the week I heard hundreds of amazing stories of people around the world demonstrating great courage and creativity in pursuing charitable causes.  I was also able to initiate over 40 partnerships with NGOs and corporations for WFF projects on Global Leaders, nature, immigration, orphans, peace, and play.  As these partnerships are actualized, we will announce them via our Twitter service.  If you would like to be informed of these developments, as well as to be among the first to learn the site of the 2011 World Forum when it is unveiled, follow us on Twitter.

How wonderful - what fantastic news to see how the gifts of Bonnie and Rodger have been extended to form a world wide family network in honour of children.
Thank-you on behalf of our children and our children's children.
How can we help further in Australia.
There are many of us in early childhood wanting desperately to be involved in non-for profit initiatives, early chldhood communities, nature schools etc. We need someone to come and show us how? Please help us get connected and networked to the energy of compassion that your organisation asssists.

This is such a recognition to Mr. Neugebauer for his and his wife's continuous effort for the development of young children. We the people who any way affiliated with the WFF feel just great on this news. Also feel great as I see the great Mr. Yunus from my country were there in that event.

CONGRATS Mr. Neugebauer. We are after you.
