National Institute for Early Education Research (April 2009). The report concluded...
"Sarah Messiah, a University of Miami researcher who analyzed the data from National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, said the new findings are worrisome in light of the fact that about one quarter of U.S. children aged 2 to 5 are overweight.... [T]he findings show that the battle against obesity needs to begin in early childhood."'
One obvious cure for early childhood obesity is to get children more active outdoors.
