Win a Trip to the 2009 World Forum!
December 11, 2008
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
-Mahatma Gandhi

Once again Lakeshore Learning Materials is awarding two trips to the World Forum on Early Care and Education.

Sign up today for your chance to win a trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the 2009 World Forum. No obligations, no purchases necessary to enter the drawing!

The two winning names drawn at random will be awarded round-trip coach air transportation to Belfast from any international airport, lodging for four nights at the Hastings Europa Hotel, and one World Forum registration. (Registration fee will be refunded if winner has previously registered). Does not include ground transportation, meals, or items of a personal nature. Contest ends March 1, 2009.

When you attend the 2009 World Forum in Belfast (June 16 - 19) you will have many opportunities to get involved in international projects. All of our current World Forum projects — Peace Education, Nature Education, AIDS and Young Children, Men in ECE, Teacher Educator, etc. — got their start when early childhood professionals from different countries with similar passions met at a World Forum and hatched a plan.

Register soon before the Early Bird Discount for World Forum 2009 expires.

I've been recieving mails from Exchange Everyday since the day my colleague introduced me to it and the regular updates and information posted there really enhances my understanding about Early Childhood Care and Development and Children's development.

Attending a World Forum of ECCD experts and advocates would really be a phenominal cross cultural learning opportunity!

We are an accreditation facilitation project and 8 of our mentors attended the Forum in Montreal 4 years ago, I was scheduled to attend but had a death in the family so was not able to. The group who attended was so inspired and brought back all kinds of resources but together a power point to share with the early child care community here and we would really love to have another opportunity.

I have recently been a part of a Leading to Excellence Initiative that included 9 credits of course work in Leadership. The opportunity to attend the World Forum is included in my program vision statement that I wrote during this initiative. What a fantastic award this would be.
