Pademelon Press is delighted to announce that, after much consideration of the numerous very worthy submissions received, the next World Forum Networking Project has been selected. The project, "Plan to Revitalize a European Men in Childcare Network," will be led by Lauk Woltring from The Netherlands, together with Timothy Moran from Ireland and Kenny Spence from the United Kingdom. The aim will be to bring together men from European countries that are active in promoting male involvement in early childhood education, share experiences, and support each other. An informative report on achievements will be presented at the 2009 World Forum on Early Care and Education in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Every person who registers for the 2009 World Forum on Early Care and Education will be assigned, upon registering, to a 'home team.' Members of each home team of 16 registrants from around the world will be encouraged to get to know each other prior to arriving in Belfast by sharing biographical information, stories, and photos. In Belfast, opportunities will be provided for members of each team to meet in person and continue building relationships.
