The Forum will facilitate the sharing of techniques, objectives, philosophies, and perspectives among teacher educators from around the world to enable them to improve their effectiveness. It is designed for college instructors and independent trainers as well as individuals in private and public organizations responsible for the training of early childhood directors, teachers, and family child care providers.
At the Forum educators from around the world will present their perspectives on training adults, developing curriculum content, motivating learners, assessing learners' progress, and teaching and learning at a distance. Considering the fact that money issues are probably one of the contributing factors that keep students from pursuing higher education in the early childhood field I find it interesting that it costs $366 to even get to the forum. What kind of population of teachers are you hoping to achieve? I would love to express my opinion on the subject but it would be impossible to spend the money to get to New Zealand or take the time off needed to get there. Just my thoughts....
