Hurricane Katrina – How Can We Help?
August 31, 2005
Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.
-Soren Kierkegaard

The stories coming in about the horrible devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina are truly heart wrenching. All aspects of life are impacted on a long-term basis in many communities. We now want to start collecting suggestions from our readers on how all of us can help our peers whose professional and personal lives have been torn asunder. See the instructions at the bottom of this message for how to share your ideas in the “Sound Off” area on our web site.

It is still too early to hear from our colleagues in this region for their own stories and ideas on how we can help. We will be in touch with them as soon as possible and relay their reports to you in the same “Sound Off” section.
