we are a day home agency and Providers recieve $30 per day of 6-8.5 hour day for children over 19 months under 19 months is $35 per day any hours under 6 or over 8 are charged at +19 months $4 and -19months $4.50 the agency admin fee is $75 per family

I learned many years ago to stop apoligizing for the high cost of quality early care and education and I don't! I believe that as an industry we realigned our rates with "reality" several years ago and have now reached a point where we can control costs, include a profit... even if a small one and no longer require high annual increases.

I have submitted our fees, but they are simply for our center which is heavily subsidized by our company and yet still are more than what you have recorded here. I think that these fees look very low in comparison to the market surveys that we have done around the country when pricing our subsidized fees.

The child care fees are not what we should get paid for the services of including food and curriculum for the children. My parents laughed in my face when I informed them in regards to a meal charge per week. We can afford to pay our parent fees and you are going to charge for food. It cost me an average of $300.00 for child care food and curriculum cost 25.00 per month for each child with supplies. The counties/states need to raise our fees and pay us on time each month for our subsized children. instead of the middle of the month wehn all bills and food items are past due.

Tution will rise slower than previous years due to the state of the economy. For profit centers have a harder time raising tution because we cannot price ourselves out of the market.
