Program Purpose

Increase the awareness of Acapulco bay contamination and conservation of its ecosystems.

Program Description

We study the habitats that represent the ocean in the planet, raising awareness about their fragility and need of protection. We also work on hands-on approach where the kids explore the habitats in field trips; and at school, with the help of teachers and parents, building and transforming schoolyards and classrooms into an ocean.

Most Unique Program Feature

Once the students have gone trough the study of the marine curriculum and the field trips the perspective of the ocean will never be the same. The building of the habitats among parents, students and teachers stand out in a distinctive expression of the visual arts. >From K-9 grade students interact day by day until the whole school can be the best teaching lesson of the ocean.
