Roger's Top Books of 2004

"We have more ability than will power, and it is often an excuse to ourselves that we imagine that things are impossible." - La Rochefoucauld in Maxims

Roger's Top Books of 2004

Every once in a while we will accidentally get a copy of a note sent from an ExchangeEveryDay reader as they pass on the day's story to friend. One of my favorites closed her note by saying, "You should subscribe to ExchangeEveryDay. Often the messages are pretty lame, but usually they will help you very much." Well, today may be one of the "lame" ones for many of you. To close the year I am sharing my top 12 non-work books of 2004. Khaled Hosseini, The Kite Runner
Boris Akunin, The Winter Queen *
Isaac Adamson, Hokkaido Popsicle *
Manuel Ramos, The Ballad of Rocky Ruiz *
