Interfaith Prayer Service for Children

Interfaith Prayer Service for Children

The Children's Defense Fund has announced that "thousands of leaders and members from many faith communities will gather at this pivotal moment in the nation's history to pray for justice for the young and needy." The event is the culmination of a major voter mobilization effort for the Nov. 2 elections, which Children's Defense Fund President Marian Wright Edelman calls the "most important" of her life. The service will be held at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., at 7 pm on Thursday, Oct. 28.
