A Message from Nancy Rosenow:

In March, 2020, just as the pandemic was taking hold, I wrote to all of you about the importance of letting down our “professional walls” and becoming more authentic with each other – one human being to another. In that time I’ve been amazed at the way our community has supported each other’s individual work while focusing intensely on how we, collectively, can make life better for young children. The articles in Exchange magazine have addressed important and timely issues. The conversations through comments on ExchangeEveryDay are gratifying and enlightening. Throughout a challenging time, your generosity of spirit has been such a bright spot. I can’t wait to see our community’s connections keep growing.

Today I wanted you to know I’ll be retiring from my role as Chief Executive Officer of Dimensions Foundation (the home of Exchange Press). I’m delighted to announce that Tara Schroder has been appointed the new CEO of Dimensions, and in that role will become Exchange Publisher now. Tara brings a wealth of experience, having served most recently as Dimensions’ Chief Operating Officer. I will still be working part-time through November to help with the transition, so will be curating ExchangeEveryDay for a few more months. And I will always care about each of you, and will be looking for ways to stay supportive of this field that I truly believe does some of the most important work in our world.

And now: A Message from Tara Schroder:
One of the many attributes that Nancy and I share is that we care deeply about this work. I am honored to continue to grow Dimensions from the foundation that Nancy has so wonderfully built. It’s my pleasure and honor to now serve as Exchange Publisher. I, too, look forward to making an impact and meeting all of you in some way at some point.
