World Humanitarian Day is held every year on 19 August to recognize the aid workers that risk their lives in humanitarian service, to celebrate the spirit of humanitarianism and to mobilize people to advocate for a more humane world. This year, World Humanitarian Day will revolve around the theme of 'One Humanity', and our shared global responsibility to take action for the more than 130 million people in need of humanitarian assistance around the world.
Exchange especially would like to recognize on this special day the extraordinary contributions being made to the lives of children and their families by the members of the World Forum Foundation community in over 100 nations. In carrying out your vital work, please keep in mind the words of President John F. Kennedy:
"Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see."
