In a recent Research Notes, the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership shared the results of a leadership study conducted in Australia. Three hundred and fifty-one early childhood leaders were asked to rate the most important leadership capacities. These capacities rated the highest:
1. Advocate for all children and families
2. Develop and sustain relationships
3. Develop and manage self
4. Create and share knowledge
5. Promote inquiry and reflection
6. Sustain partnerships and networks
