When Not to Intervene

Adults naturally are inclined to "help" children who are experiencing challenges. It is hard to stand back and watch children struggle. But as this video, "It Takes Two to Tie a Shoe," from the Learning Moments CD: Children with Learning Challenges demonstrates, children can be quite persistent, and often learn, when adults resist intervening.
