Looking ahead to 2013, the Economist observes that where you are born in 2013 will have a major impact on your life chances. This index ranked 80 countries on 11 statistically significant indicators ranging from subjective ones (satisfaction surveys and trust levels in public institutions) to hard core ones (crime rates, per capita income, and health indices).
