The earthquake in Haiti and the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico have placed great strains on families impacted by these disasters. In both of these crises early childhood professionals from around the world have been stepping forward to help in any way they can. Now we have an opportunity to provide continuing support. In October, Nature Action Teams from 30 nations will be coming to the Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska to secure tools and training for launching campaigns to connect 3 million children with nature. Two new teams have just been organized in Haiti and Louisiana.
The World Forum Foundation is appealing for donations to support the work of these two Nature Action Teams. Every dollar that is contributed will be matched by a two additional dollars by Bright Horizons Family Solutions and Danya International, Inc.
