Thinking in Verbs Not Nouns

Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won’t come in.
Isaac Asimov, Author and Biochemist, 1920-1992

George Forman has always been interested in how children think.  As a researcher in training he became fascinated with observing children in natural play situations as opposed to laboratory settings.  What he came to recognize that children learn to think in verbs, not nouns.  To hear George explain this observation, go to the 8th segment of WoFo Radio

George is currently Emeritus Professor at the University of Massachusetts.  In addition, he and Ellen Hall produce Videatives -- the video clips Exchange sells for use in professional development initiatives.
