Bonnie's New Blog

We carried banners that said, 'We want time to play.' 'We want more schools and less hospitals.'
Mother Jones (1837-1930), Activist

"Word on the street is that you’ll be interested in becoming intimately involved in our work life through this blog.  Scott told me that there are blogs about cupcakes, so there will certainly be interest in the people we talk to and the ideas and challenges shared.  We’ll soon see, won’t we?

"So that leaves the moral dilemma.  How do you know when you are right?  When do you give up?  What do you fight for?  When you acknowledge that it is possible for there to be as many righteous perspectives as there are people — what tells you that yours has value or merit?  I could use some help here!

"Debra Sullivan shared thoughts with me about community:  'We don’t know what amazing and powerful things we might be able to accomplish if we create strong communities.'  How do we create these communities in our world today?  It occurs to me that this blog might be one way . . ."
