MORE THAN MYSTERY BOOKS
We don't want to give the impression that early childhood professionals only
read mystery books (when they aren't reading Child Care Information Exchange).
So we have shared some of our recent non-mystery favorites, and invite you to
share yours.
Bonnie's Recent Favorites
Renato's Luck by Jeff Shapiro: "I loved the character development
in this fun story set in a small village in Tuscany."
The Soul of the Chef by Michael Ruhlman: "This
book is not just about cooking, but about how anyone can invest passion in what
they do. On an airplane I met the doctor that Ruhlman is doing his next book
on, so I was especially interested in this book."
Roger's Recent Favorites
The Miracle of Castel Di Sangro by Joe McGinnis: "A
true story about a soccer team from a tiny town in Italy's poorest region that had an
impossibly great run in national competition."
The House of Moses All-Stars by Charley Rosen: "A sports story, about
a Jewish professional basketball team traveling cross country in the 1930's, All-Stars
is much more than that, taking a look at the cultural tensions during a difficult
period."
