Giving Thanks
Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
In the United States, the fourth Thursday in November is Thanksgiving Day, a day to give thanks for our blessings. As we begin our 30th year in service to the early childhood profession, we have much to be thankful for...
- our 45,000 active customers who subscribe to Exchange, the Early Childhood Leaders' Magazine Since 1978, use our professional development resources, read ExchangeEveryDay, and use our textbooks in their classrooms;
- the early childhood practitioners who supply us with feedback and ideas as members of our advisory group, the Exchange Panel of 300;
- the hundreds of individuals who have written articles for Exchange or presented at World Forum Foundation conferences;
- the 4,000 early childhood professionals from 85 nations who have attended World Forum Foundation conferences; and,
- the 12 national organizations that are Exchange Strategic Partners, and the 20 international NGOs that are members of the World Forum Alliance.
And, we give thanks for family, which includes each of you, and for the joy of being parents and now grandparents.
Correction: The article PDF from
