Eager-to-Learn, an internationally recognized online learning program of the Minnesota Child Care Resource and Referral Network, is designed to provide quality, affordable, educational opportunities for people who care for children. Child care providers and other early childhood and school-age professionals can learn valuable information from the comfort and convenience of home.
Eager-to-Learn classes are five-week, in-depth learning experiences where students participate in weekly “live” chat sessions, respond to bulletin board questions, and write a weekly reflection. Instructors provide feedback to the students on the bulletin board and students are encouraged to respond to each other. Students receive 16 inservice hours or 1.6 CEU’s for each course; some courses have a credit option.
Eager-to-Learn worked in collaboration with other Minnesota partners to develop the Guide to Effective Practices for Online Professional Development. You may view this document that speaks to quality online learning at http://etl.mnchildcare.org
