Online Collection of Best Practices in E-Learning

The Kindersite Project is involved in a European Union co-funded project compiling Best eLearning Practices for 5- to 12-year-old children and their schools into a usable searchable system, in multiple languages, for use across Europe and the world. The catalogue is based on scientific, pedagogical, and technological analysis of numerous sources of "Best Practices" across Europe, with a particular emphasis on digital literacy.

The mission of the Child ICT Pages (Ch.I.Ps) project is to provide a catalogue of ICT "Best Practices” that will enable children, families, and teachers to access the Information Society. Ch.I.Ps believes that digital literacy for children is a fundamental need in our present and future society. Tools, products, and opportunities for online training are many, but in many cases not easily described and organized in a way that is easy to find and use, by all levels.

The aim of the Ch.I.Ps project is to gather relevant information of "Best Practices" in ICT for 5- to 12-year-old children. These can be products, resources, methodologies, and experiences that have been used to teach children how to use:
