NAEYC Adopts New Acceditation Performance Criteria

The NAEYC Governing Board has approved the new NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and Accreditation Performance Criteria. According to NAEYC...

"The new program standards and performance criteria build on the history of the Association, and on the vision proposed by the Reinvention Commission in 2002: NAEYC Accreditation–—and NAEYC-accredited programs—can lead the way to higher quality. Thousands of people helped develop the new standards and criteria by giving feedback to draft versions. Many program directors, validators, researchers, and other stakeholders have provided input, and we thank all of you for your time, your ideas, and your passion for the well being of young children."
