Upon learning of the sexual abuse charges in the McMartin Child Care Center in California, Kelly's mother was concerned about the well-being of her own daughter, who also spent her days in a child care center. Kelly is reported to have remembered her mom telling her to be careful. But just telling your child to be careful without showing them how to be careful isn't enough. Within weeks of her mother's warning, Kelly Michaels was herself a suspect in a sexual abuse in child care investigation. You see, the Kelly in this case was Kelly Michaels, an aide in the Wee Care Child Care Center in New Jersey. Children are not the only ones who need better advice.
