The Renton Technical College Child Care Center has been in existence since 1979 to serve the child care needs of the students, staff, and faculty of the college, as well as the local community. The program is also affiliated with the college Early Childhood Careers program, and serves as an internship site for student teachers. The RTC Child Care Center boasts many standards that are commonly associated with strong early learning programs: NAEYC Accreditation, highly qualified staff, low staff turnover, strong support from the larger organization (senior management of the college), and a demonstrated commitment to providing high quality services to their children and their families.

RTC is located just southeast of Seattle and offers approximately 70 professional technical training programs in early childhood education, culinary arts, education, health care, trades & industry, automotive, business & technology. The college’s web site is at www.rtc.edu.
