Thirty international distance learning pioneers gathered in Montreal last year prior to the World Forum on Early Care and Education to share effective practices in the use of technology to educate early childhood professionals.

The group represented a wide range of distance learning models, technologies, delivery systems, and learners. Participants came from ten countries and 14 states in the U.S. to learn from and support each other, and to identify practices to improve the education of early childhood practitioners worldwide.

EC eTeaching 2005 �" Promising Practices in Teaching and Learning at a Distance included four program showcases:

• European Enhancement of Early Years Management Skills
