Education is seen as a major force in the bid to produce more sustainably literate citizens. Most notable is the role that early childhood education can play in sustainable development. Early childhood education can contribute to this development through educators’ professional competencies, cultural experiences, integrated knowledge-base, and personally engaging experiences for children.
