Children, Change, Relationships, Spirit, Differences: One Month until the 2023 World Forum on Early Care and Education
April 3, 2023
In a gentle way, you can shake the world.
-Mahatma Gandhi, 1869-1948, lawyer and ethicist

Brought to life nearly 25 years ago on the simple idea that "good things would happen for children of the world if early childhood professionals could come together, share stories and perspectives, and develop ongoing relationships," the World Forum on Early Care and Education brings people together from all over the world to explore and share ideas around Children, Change, Relationships, Spirit and Differences. These rich connections allow participants to expand their thinking in ways that inspire local action and lifelong friendships.

The 2023 World Forum on Early Care and Education is just one month away, with the option to participate virtually or in person in Panama City! Registration is open and the event schedule has been posted. Delegates will present on and discuss a range of topics, including:

  • Children’s Rights in Action: Resilience!
  • Environmental Kinship: A Global Perspective
  • A Vital Mindset for Leadership
  • The Art of Wisdom, Observation and Responsive Care
  • Design and Intentionality - Indoors, Outdoors and Beyond (Virtual session)
  • Creating Cohesive, Collaborative Partnerships with Families
  • Re-Imagining Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Early Childhood Development

Reflecting on her experience, Ruth Liew, Malaysia, notes the World Forum is "for those who are passionate about their work with children and a place where we built relationships with people from all over the world. Finally, this is also a great time to discover our own great ideas at work and be able to share them with others. A place to learn from others and to do some self learning."
