“What message is most important for emerging professionals to hear? What do we most need to tell them?” As Nancy Rosenow, Kay Albrecht, and I shared time and conversation, the topic turned to the Exchange Leadership Initiative and the Emerging and Master Leaders we are coming to know. We are humbled by the enthusiasm, vision, and talent of these Leaders and eager to learn from them. The three of us have been in the field for most of our lives and feel a responsibility to mentor others; we have something to offer — the learning goes both ways.

As we talked about lessons learned, moments we are proud of, experiences we regret, Kay shared, “I think one of the most important messages is about integrity.
